Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11:30 am–2:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Fremont is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fremont follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We made reservations on it Thursday to celebrate a birthday dinner. The food was great the service was very nice the place was crowded so glad we did make the reservation. Some of the best lasagna I've had and the carbonara my goodness. I'm a big fan of creme brulee and they did not disappoint. Will be back again.

This is a good Italian place to go to. Food is good, the ambiance is good and the service is great. Very intimate setting and you get to know the owner himself. I had the precciutto melone for appetizer. The balance of sweet and a little salty is great. For main course, I had the lobster ravioli which was delicious. Had tiramisu for dessert and that was good too. Good wine selection. Will definitely go back.

Wonderful Italian restaurant! Felt more like a family affair versus the typical "clinical" chain restaurant experience. Delicious food, good conversation and great suggestions for wine based on your tastes. As a long time lover of authentic Italian food, this is certainly in my top three if not my top pick. Reservations are required, so ensure you make one before visiting. Highly recommended!

From the outside, this restaurant looks small and fairly modest, but the moment you walk in it feels like stepping into a different world. The interior is cozy and thoughtfully decorated with charming details that make you feel like you’re dining in a historic restaurant in a small Italian town. The highlight of my visit was the Branzino. It was absolutely fantasticβ€”perfectly cooked, moist, and tender. The fish is quite large, but the flavor is so good that you never get tired of it. The pasta served with it pairs beautifully with the dish. The calamari and wine recommended by our server were also excellent. Our server initially seemed a bit serious, but turned out to be very friendly and funny, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant can get quite busy, especially on weekends, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. Definitely a place worth visiting!

I have enjoyed each and every time I have visited. I have had a few dishes off the menu and they have been mouthwatering delights. Everything is fresh and they bring cheese and pepper to grind at the table. Very accommodating for a small to med size group. Staff is very responsive my bread nor my water glass were never empty. The owner is a very nice gentleman and has a lot of restaurant experience, remembered my name and what I usually drink. Parking is ok, so give yourself a few minutes to get a good spot. The place is decorated in a vintage and reminds me of the places in the Bronx. Handicap seating is available and I would encourage making a reservation. Quiet place for lunch or dinner. Enjoy !!!
